Ken's post of his driveway rattlesnake and the replies reminded me that if you want to see a rattlesnake in Baja, then APRIL is the month!

I've walked right over two of them in Baja--as pointed out by the person behind me--both times in April/May...fortunately they were in the shade and
still kind of groggy! Both were Western Diamonbacks. The Red Diamondbacks are more aggressive and I might not have been so lucky.

mexitron- i remember each one of those.one when we whre bush whacking on a side hill, the other when we were turning a corner starting up some
switchbacks.there were two boulders and that big red beautiful thing was right there...
