travel to baja

We are pulling a 26 ft 5th wheel and 23 ft Parker walkaround to Los Barriles on May 2. Would like to have some ideas on where to stay on a 3 day trip. We are staying at potreo County RV park May 1 and plan to enter through Tecate 0600.

3 day Baja trip? It will take that long just to get there!

Oh, are you asking about where to stay on the three nights driving there?

You might make Rancho Santa Ynez the first night (no hook ups, but lot's of space to park and camp... good food. It's about 300 miles from Tecate to Santa Ynez (a mile past Cataviņa).

If something delays you the first day, you can stay in San Quintin at Gypsy's (Cielito Lindo), El Pabellon, or El Rosario's Sinahi RV Park.

San Ignacio, San Lucas Cove, Mulege, Bahia Concepcion are good second night possiblities... depending on when you begin or if you chose to see some of Baja on your drive down. Bahia de los Angeles really is worth a couple days... 41 miles off Hwy. 1 on a good highway.

Los Barriles is easily made for the third night.

I see on San Lucas Cove's website that RVs are welcome to stay for free on the vacant beach front lots until they are sold.

I am assuming that you are towing these things with seperate tow vehicles or that is going to be one really long rig to tow around Baja.:o

Yup :bounce:2 rigs. I thought someone might ask that but had to float it out there:D
We are building a house in Los Barriles and will be parking the trailer(temporary second home) and boat on our property. Can't wait to get there and wet some lines.
