Are there any 'clase lujo' or 'clase executivo' bus lines running TJ to Cabo? Where would I find out about them?

we have ABC and Aguila. the former tends to be 'directo' (check where you buy your ticket) and the later tends to stop whereever someone waves them
down. the price difference is minimal. both lines tend to newer buses, both have movies, ac, etc. both are far superior to mainland basic buses but
neither approach ejecutivo service. no ham and cheese lunch when you board, etc.
there is a new, fancy looking line going...BajaEcoTours, which may be an option, I've no experience with them directly but they land in the same
terminal in La Paz and points south/north of Loreto. whether they go to the border, I don't know. nor do I know if you have to sign on for a tour at
the end. but it would be worth a google or having someone in La Paz or Cabo check it out at the bus station for you. please post info if you find

The days of the old chicken bus are over in baja...sadly because there used to be a choice of classes and cheaper fares available but now all the
buses from TJ to Cabo are really fancy and pretty expensive...now it's not much more to fly...but the buses are very nice, stop for food and
bathrooms, and the only difference is there are some that go direct (supposedly) so are faster and cost a bit more.backninedan - 4-14-2007 at 09:10 AM
Approx. 20 hours and 980 pesos to make the run from loreto to tijuana. The seats were comfy and they ran two movies. There were plenty of stops for

I also took the bus TJ to Loreto. It was fine, except for the big drunken cowboy that got on in Ensenada, sat next to me, promptly passed out, rolled
over on me several times, until a seat opened up so I could move. Oh, and they
showed four movies, but one was "The Dukes of Hazzard," in Spanish, but it could have been worse, it could have been in English.
The new airlines have tickets from TJ to La Paz that are cheaper than the TJ to Loreto bus. So maybe fly to La Paz, and take a shorter bus trip La Paz
to Loreto.
It will be nice if Avolar or Volaris airlines would add a Loreto stop...
