$23,000 is a lot if it's your $23,000, but compared to corporate larceny, it's pocket change.
For instance, here's one I researched : Since September 2005, when his company's stock started to slide, Director Bruce Toll (of Toll Brothers, Inc.
homebuilders) has received "gifts" and ridiculously low stock options that he has cashed in for a net gain of $80,490,126. Yes, that's eighty million
in the bank.
I suppose that was a reward for the stock losing 2/3 of its value during that time. And that's just one director in one company--there are many more
slopping from the trough. The rich get richer . . .
