Orphanage Locations.

Is there a web site or government entity that lists locations of recognized orphanages??
Am interested in locations in Baja Norte, north of El Rosario.

Thanks,

Years ago we brough items to the one in Colonia V. Guerrero... it is east of Hwy. 1 from the center of town. That was when we stayed at Posada Don Diego for the Mexico West (Tom Miller) club events.

We have discussed orphanages frequently

Go to "search", plug in 'orphanages' and you will see lots of info.

try this website....
http://www.corazondevida.org/index.htm

my kids started this US organization and the dozen places they support are good.

(there are many, many, many orphanages in Northern Baja- U2U me for lots more info)

Maneadero orphanage

While we are on the subject, those who are interested might want to deviate a couple miles off road in Maneadero and visit the Agua Viva Orphanage.

JR originally got me there, and it was a great tip on his part.

They are small, fairly new, but clean and very upbeat (the necessary standards for me to help out)

Best way to find it is head South thru town, just before the sweeping curve at the top of the hill you will see a road to the right (West) that goes through. I believe there is a "Taller" on that corner and a used car lot on the left side of the hiway.

Go West a couple of miles and you will cross a couple of main North-South roads. On your left, on the slight bluff to your South, you will see a bright (and I mean bright) orange two story building. That is Agua Viva.

Once you sight it, just head toward it, easy to get to, and great to see and help.

(Corky- got your U2U- hope it was helpful)

Thanks to all for the info recieved.:bounce::bounce:
Additional question,

I used to go to an orphanage south of Camalu on the east side of the highway, about 3-5 miles off the road.

Do you know the name of this place?? :?::?:

Well, that sure pins it down, doesn't it??

I can take you to more than a dozen orphanages "just outside of Ensenada" that are needy and need help....

Well, I thought I did get specific, see my post above.

Did you go to the Corazon de Vida website?
There are a dozen places, close, all well checked out by people that are part of my family, all deserving.

Also, if you 'search' the topic, use my handle, I have made lots of post on this topic over the past 4 years.

If all else fails, U2U me and we can get real specific...
(right Corky??)

OK guys lets all calm down.
No need for a pi$$ing contest about who helps who and where they do it.
Any amount you can give to anyone in need is good work.
As a result of this "ORPHANAGE" posting I was able to contact many others that have been doing as I have for the past 35+ yrs.
Thanks to all for the info.
