Also recently......Here in the Puget Sound region we have been hearing radio ads from our major N.P R. station KPLU, about why everyone should own a piece of beautiful vacation property in La Paz. Its unbelievable the way that it is worded and marketed. What is behind this kind of marketing anyhow? What am I not understanding here??:barf::barf:

I remember when everyone thought Sirena's papa was totally insane when he started taking people out to look at gray whales in the lagoon!!! ride a manta ray...are you nuts?...swim with whale sharks...say waht????? but now look at the trend...big bucks...I rarely poo poo a new idea cause sometimes they are awesome. This really got me imagining what it would be like diving with squid...sounds intriguing to me....but yeah, someones idea of marketing strategy...I get soooo sick of eco this and eco that...a load of eco crap.

KPLU- my alma mater's own station

I have fished the large schools of squid that arrive near Loreto in late May and early June. I never thought about swimming with the suckers. They are usually about 4 to 10 pounds and are on the surface in daylight after schools of fish. When you hook one and bring it up/in, others surround it blinking red/white rapidly.
Eat them? Sure!
Swim with them?
Not today, thanks!
