I'm interested in hearing from users of the LB Maps for GPS.
Comments, Raves, Advice, Complaints,
If you have used it,I want to hear all about it please.:D

REI's got 25% off their Garmin eTrex Color units right now.

I bought the Baja Expeditioner last year. I thought that it was a little pricey at first but I used it continuously so it was probably worth the cost. Now the Expeditioner has been updated and will autoroute, even though its a few dollars more I think that the autorouting makes it well worth the cost. Unfortunately I didn't get to use it off road as much as I would have liked but it seemed quite accurate for what little I did. The city maps turned out to be invaluable.

I concur with jack. I have had the Expeditioner for three years and find it quite accurate. It has most, but not all of the dirt tracks that you find on the ground or in the Mexican Topos. I use it in La Paz to bookmark shops and services that once found may be hard to rediscover. My only complaint is that it does not display town names of the larger towns (e.g., Vizcaino thru La Paz).

I use both the "Expeditioner" and the "Navigator" from LB Maps.

Both great products and very easy to use.

I use them on a Garmin 276c and use the "Navigator" when ON-Road but then switch to the "Expeditioner" when i hit the dirt.

Having them both turned on at the same time is not a good idea, the roads dont mesh up 100% and the makes a mess on the screen!

Also, i have found that you NEVER want to rely on the Pemexs that are shown on there! 50% of the ones that i have seen on there and have driven by are LONG GONE with only remains left! :D

Great product!

Change the ZOOM in and out Detail.

I noticed that the names are only displayed at certain detail levels, usually zoomed out too far to use. Weird.

This is for the "Expeditioner" the "Navigator" is pretty good with town names.
