How long will it last ??

Each winter we and our kids load into the truck and head south to Baja. Each winter they are a blank canvas, waiting for all things Baja.

Over our weeks and months in Baja, they soak up all that Baja has to offer and get colored with the local flavor. It always happens so easily and quickly; alomst without a thought, they change before my eyes. Although on one trip, they got too much Baja at once and had to relax in the shade for a few days.

Once we get home, some things Baja are taken for granted and even forgotten. The changes slowly reverse themselves in subtle ways as we continue life in the cold northwest.
I've recently noticed that some things Baja do hang with us much longer than we would expect while others fade.

So the real question is ........

How long will these Baja sandle tan lines on my feet remind me of warmer times, beaches and soft sands ??
