I see alot of Fords in BCS. Does anyone know if the availability of Ford parts makes it easier to own down there? Or are Ford's just easier to
work on?
Finally, what might be the best years for a F-150 or 250 -- between mid- '90's to early 2000's?

Yep. Since they break down so often, the mechanics get lots of practice.

Actually, any older Ford or Chevy will find mechanics either knowledgeable enough or innovative enough to fix them. Parts are roughly equal in
distribution. "Exotics" are more problematic in terms of parts availability.

You sure like to stir the pot.
Yes, I drive a Ford... but it is a diesel... and parts are not always that easy to find in Baja. But then again, they don't break that often.
