I got this email not too long ago:

No more work on the booooolevad but some work on the electric poles coming down the hill. Villa Vita put up big signs along the beach by Memo Smiths
all the way to Nassas house that says private property and served notice for all the Mexicans to get out, They served Sergio that his gas station is
on their property but they would sell him the lot cheap...

Paulina: I don't know nothing 'bout nothing but I sure as heck would make sure that I owned the land before I invested $100,000 or whatever a Pemex
costs. How does this stuff happen????

Santiago, I would tend to agree with you. Allegedly when the owner of Villa Vita died, his grown children didn't see eye to eye with their father's
wishes or land use ideals.
More of that email.

I believe that the owner of Villa Vita was Jim Bracamonte of "Jim's Air", the fixed base operator at Lindberg Field in San Diego. Apparently his
kids own it now???
I know that this was true many years ago as I worked for Jim and Marge Bracamonte on their flight line, and learned to fly there.
Interesting that the "kids" (they must be in their '50's now) would take this "attitude".

why wouldn't they simply offer to JV with them now as partners on the gas deal and make their cut for "leasing" the dirt all these years??
seems like the way to make peace and everyone gets to keep going??
