My recent post on boat insurance got me to thinking about other insurance issues:
1. If I'm involved in an accident on the road with another vistor, and no one is injured, do the authorities really care? Anyone been involved in a
gringo-on-gringo damage?
2. I have never heard of anyone making a claim on their boat liability while on the water. Does anyone know of this happening? Of course, as I'm
generally in the mid-riff, there's just not many other boats to run into and there's not much shore development that my 18' aluminum is gonna ruin.
Just curious....

If I didnt figure to be using a marina occasionally, I wouldnt get on the water liability. But I will be and it's supposedly required.
Funny things can happen while docking, too.
But, no, I dont know anyone who has had to use their OTW liability.
Good question for on the San Carlos boards. Most of them have it, as it is required. Someone probably has used it.

i ALWAYS hit stuff...

until they put brakes on a boat you're in "DANGER DANGER DANGER"
