DianaT - 5-17-2007 at 08:32 AM

to log in, read this and her e-mails so she can fix her great new web-site, I thought I would throw in a few snaps of Bahia Asuncion that I didn't have in our trip report.

This is the preview showing

Looking forward to seeing the new pics on Shari's site---but, I must say, the best way to see it, is come on down!

Shari's place is way to the left in this picture and she really has the million dollar view. This also shows where a couple of other Nomads will be.:lol:

Shot of the town from above

Shot of one of the streets where some schools are located---colorful and very well cared for.

One of the rocky beaches---at the other end of town is miles and miles of empty flat beach---great for walking, jogging, etc.

Where the fishing boats are

OK, now Shari, I hope you get it fixed soon so all can see the main show.

Diane,

You'll have to tell me how you do that multiple photo in one post thing !

Here's one of your rocky beach at low tide. I hear it's the local kids surf spot. Looking NW, I think.

Here's another, looking the same direction but taken from Shari's new palm grove. I hear some gringos have bought land/homes out there !!
San Roque is in the distance.

Here's one of Shari trying to explain the hydraulic workings of the blowhole to Zeke. It took some serious 'splain'in !!

Diane,

I love your photos. The one from above town shows a character I had a hard time conveying. What a peaceful looking little town !

Thanks !

Here's a shot of the upper-level school from the road you show. The kids were out at the basketball court, all in their clean outfits. The whole place looked very cheery and tidy.

Multiple Photos

DianaT - 5-17-2007 at 09:25 AM

OK---here is what I do

I use photobucket or tinypics as I always seem to have trouble with using this server---size etc. So if you use this server, I imagine it works the same way??? But someone else will have to let you know.

First I downsize pictures just using window resizer, then I upload them to Photobucket. I keep photobucket open.

Ok, now I quit typing and insert a picture link. I either copy the URL link and paste it into the picture link button, or I find it easier to just copy the IMG CODE on Photobucket and insert it into the text---here goes

Fading light on the moutains South/ East Bahia Asuncion

While you are typing, the picture won't show, only the code which will look like this except [IMG] will be at both ends. Can't show it with the IMG tags or the picture will pop up.

http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b192/jdtrotter/BahiaAsunci...

Then I type more, copy another IMG CODE from photobucket, copy and paste. Hope this is clear---if not, just PM and I will try to be clearer.

Again, I don't know how it works if you use Doug's server.

Good Luck----Hope Shari signs on soon.

Diane

On Edit---Grover types faster than I do

Grover, that move will drive everyone crazy.:spingrin: Makes me a mind reader.

Just a couple more of Asuncion----

This is what the town is all about.

The other end of town where Shari's very nice beach house is located.

Shari's horse out for lunch

OK, waiting for the website to be back working.
