Hello,
I am interested in camping on the beach south of San Felipe. Perhaps all the way down to Puertocitos. Can anyone recommend some particularly good
spots to camp? I'm interested in fairly quiet, family friendly spots. I'll be there wih my two young daughters and active nightlife isn't desired.
But I would to find a spot that has other Mexican or American families so my kids can make friends.
As well, I'm interesting in a name or two of a nice campground north of San Felipe.
Also, are there spots of particular interest in that region. And are the beaches / campgrounds crowded in the next few days/weeks? For example, will
it be a problem to just drive and find a spot or are reservations recommended?
Finally, what what are temperatures like this time of year south of San Felipe.
Thanks in advance for any sage advice you can offer. I'm new to Baja but hope to go back many times over the years.

There's a big group of Nomads camping there now. You should have all the answers you'll need when they get back on Monday.

I can only address the active nightlife issue. You'd find more of that on the dark side of the moon. World's nicest people live on that stretch.

Playa Escondida is a campground right before Puertecitos. You can visit the hot springs at Puertecitos and camp out under a palapa on the beach at
Playa Escondida. Ask for Pancho, spots are 10 bucks and you get a palapa and a BBQpit right on the beach. good low tide critter hunting and a
sheltered cove for kids swimming.

It dosent get very crowded down here but we have about 15 or more campspots so there could be more people.
4 miles south of Puertecitos is a great resutrant at Bahia Christina try the shrimp tacos, there adictive...
