Nice!

backninedan - 5-21-2007 at 06:55 AM

Good idea, but you may have problems finding a caddy, club cleaning sounds a like a real chitty job.

To avoid that nasty slice;

make sure you have the correct overlapped grip,
address the turd,
settle in and check club to turd distance,
take a gentle practice swing being careful to just brush the sand,
While keeping head down,
slowly draw back while twisting from the waist/waste.
As you begin your downswing,
accelerate the club head towards the turd,
make sure your follow goes right through the point of impact,
close your eyes on impact, those freshies can be a mess !!!

Sun-turd tea, eh ??

Be sure and feed Fido a lot of ruffage.:spingrin:Ought to hold the poop together and increase distance.:tumble:

capt. mike - 5-21-2007 at 11:22 AM

my guide says you must address the ball.

how does one address a turd??

Norton would say, "Hello turd!"

Iflyfish - 5-21-2007 at 12:19 PM

Great form there Pomp!

Crappy shot though.

"You show that turd who's boss!"

toneart - 5-21-2007 at 12:48 PM

Pompano Plato said awhile back,"Nothing human is of great importance". Obviously products canine warrant more. I suspect those turds are generated by Pompano's own dogs. Sure saves on the cost of golf balls. When aiming at boats do you shout fore or aft?

:tumble:

"Fore or Aft?"

Good one!

Iflyfish

FYI, in Mexico city a few years ago, ran into an interesting newpaper article, kids clubs in Mexico City organizing to pick up dog poop. Figure quoted 40,000 pounds of dried poop released into the air EACH DAY in the city! Now there is a lot of crap to ponder. I stay away from that city.

Everyone in Mulege knows my dog Paco. He weighs 100lbs. Black and tan Husky/German Shephard mix. If you were to swing a club at one of his pearls you might hurt someone. I always walk the river road carrying plastic bags....rather inconsiderate, after learning from Pompano that the turds can be solutions to big problems. I am always a little self-conscious when using the plastic bags. I am sure the locals are thinking,"Porque? Que se va hacer con la caca?" Now I have an answer for them: I can take them to Pompano's beach. :o

I guess if a shot goes OB or in the water hazard you are taking the penalty! And do the golf rules allow a scoop if you have to take relief? Brings a whole new meaning to "one club length"! Play on....

Yesterday I sliced a turd into my neighbor's jug of suntea..I should have told them, but...

Diver - 5-22-2007 at 01:54 PM

Who got the job, Hilary or the dog ??

Diver - 5-22-2007 at 02:46 PM

Just the times, I guess, Hilary has been having a hard time with all of her new employment aspirations lately.

A turd retrieving dog ?? Ehwww !
Do you really want them back ?

This looks like a deliberate shot at the neighbor's sun-tea jar ??

We all have our hobbys. I guess Pompano's gives new meaning to the pasttime of "shootin' craps". :o
