How many of us would travel to Baja if it was a completely landlocked destination? The coast is definitely a big part of the draw - whether it be for
the beaches, fishing, kayaking, and all that sort of stuff. Also, I'm sure that weather is also a big part of the draw as well. Many people who go to
Baja like the warm weather. I doubt nearly as many would go if the weather was more like Crescent City - especially in the winter. As for me, it's a
toss up between the fish tacos and being able to drink a beer while driving on dirt roads en route to a beach for camping adventure with a little
fishing and snorkeling in the company of good people. Despite all that, I probably wouldn't be so eager to go to Baja if my ten-hours-a-day painting
job was there waiting for me along with a lawn that needs mowing on weekends. |
