What is it ??

I normally smoke Macanudos but like something nicer once in a while.

Bob H,

That is a great photo and it looks like a mighty tasty cigar! I wish I could buy just one for this summer on the panga. They sell the Padron 1926 sampler on Thompsons, but without a humidor to keep them fresh I'd be wasting $. Unless the humidity in Aug. in Bahia would be enough....Maybe if I wrapped the box in a damp towel?....

I can smell that thing right through my monitor. What is it? Is it something that has already been eaten?
Jeezo.... I've got to go open all my windows. This is awful.

Try some incense. When I smoke smelly stuff it seems to work. Although I can't roll em that big.

It's a Padron 1964 Anniversary, MADURO wrapper. You can buy single ones here.... (get the #40 torpedo!)

Oh, they are soooo good!

If you ever want to save cigars and you do not have a humidor, make sure you only use DISTILLED WATER, otherwise you will ruin the cigars with mold. You can moisten a cotton ball, put it loosly in some clear plastic wrap, place it in a jar and put your cigars around that.

Get these Humid-eze humidifying disks that will last you some time for temporary storage of cigars. Each one will last you 30-days at at time. 12 for about $12

Paulina, didn't know you were a connoiseur of fine cigars!

Ken Bondy - 5-30-2007 at 06:13 PM

Thank you Bob H! At your suggestion I bought that 8-pack Padron sampler from Thompson and really enjoyed all of them. But the anniversary Padron 1964 Maduro is still lo mejor. Paulina the cigars in the sampler were all very fresh, you just have to smoke them fast :)!

Oh yes, now I remember. I bought the single Padron 1964 Maduro first, that you had suggested. Enjoyed it sooooo much that when I saw the Thompson Padron Sampler I HAD to get it. I still have three or four left from that purchase in my humidor.
