Shell Island

OK Shell Island fans! Just a couple of pix for you all! I was down just to shut house down for the summer. It was HOT! 90 +deg. with high humidity. 17.7' high tide. A little mud & water getting onto beach. VERY quiet. No gill nets. Water was like bath water 88 -90 deg.! No wind - which was opposite of what we needed at this time of year! All I can say is the cerveza & ice went fast!!! It was great!!!! No corvina though. Water too warm - they stay out in deeper cooler water. But great time to walk the shoreline for shells with a cold beer or water. Coming back 111 deg in Mexicali on Sunday PM. Border not bad.

The huskies sure look happy. Was the rope to drag them out of the water, or did they come willingly?

Young Siberian Husky's will run like the wind if you let them loose! It's only when they are older & trained (conditioned) do they heal on command and such.

I know what you mean. We have a beagle, but I can't imagine him ever responding to a command, except "who wants treats?"
