Down to Loreto - enjoying AC for a couple days...

Hi Everyone!!

After 3 days of camping in 105 degree weather, we decided to give our skin a break from the sun. We are staying in a resort in Loreto, Baja for a few days. Who knew that AC could feel so good!! We have internet here so we thought we would share some pics from our adventures.

Other than a little rock chip (see “oops” pic) and our camera drowning in the Bahia Concepcion, we have had a pretty uneventful trip. Thank you Jesus!!

We have seen some pretty amazing things, and will share more along the way!

Dan,

The comparison between the second photo of you and the fifth says it all! It looks like you got beach front at Campo La Jolla. Did you guys dig a hot tub at low tide?

Yep, we got beach front at Campo La Jolla. It was a nice place, but we were only there about 12 hours, so not a lot of play time.

We did enjoy the pancakes, though!

When you coming north? There are lots of amigos in that area, and we could do a dinner or something. I am thinking of heading south any day now until the end of July.

We will be crossing the border back into the US around the 8th of July in route to Yellowstone for a family float trip before returning to reality...

We will be headed further south in a couple days after some relaxing, boating to Isle Coronado and a couple of days of diving.

Thanks for all the info!

Thought you all would enjoy some more pictures.

We had an amazing trip to Coronado Island in the inflatable on Wed. for some snorkeling and sight-seeing. We were hoping for some dolphins, but struck out. We did however have a fantastic dinner at La Picazon, a resturant on the beach on the coast over looking Coronado. It was a great view with fantastic food! Thanks to Alejandro and Imelda for hosting us after a long day in the sun.

Thursday and Friday were spent with the crew from Dolphin Dive in Loreto. We had a great experience and they receive our highest recommendation. In addition to the diving we saw common and bottle-nose dolphins and pilot whales! It really was a great way to spend the days here in Loreto! Thanks to Bruce and Rafael.

Tomorrow we are headed over the Sierras to San Juanico.. Should be a fun drive.

Enjoy the pics,
Dan
