Does anybody know if Ejido San Jose de la Noria in Aqua Verde has been privatized or where I can find out its status?

Over the last few years that particular ejido has sold off some land that probably belonged to them along with some other land that was not theirs to
sell.
However the bulk of their ejido land has thankfully not been put up for sale.
A lot of the ejidatarios, though, have sold their ejido rights to land speculators and others. Unfortunately, speculation fever is the biggest
game going on around Agua Verde. If it wasn't for land ownership legal disputes involving some very large parcels, it would be "katie, bar the door"
time.

about 8-10 years ago there were a lot of the ejido member in loreto trying to sell there individual lotsat Agua Verde that were soposidly awarded at
a drawing of the whole ejido but then it was all dropped about a year later i cant say for sure but i think it needed to be passed throu another
entity to become private ant thats been holding up the works but i still think there are propertys listed on the locale real estate offices there was
one realiter that was working hard on it i think he was from european decent??

Thanks Jerry and Ken. Sounds like the pre-privatization melee. I suppose you could arrange a promissory contract with an ejido member. There's risk
involved with those, consequently the dollar amounts are discounted.
The drawing Jerry mentioned is I think the part of the process where the land is divided up among the members prior to titles being awarded. Doing
that equitably is usually a problem and can take several years.
I wonder how much has been staked out (literally). The ejido at Cerritos outside of El Pescadero was marked with stakes defining lot boundaries a
couple of years before the first titles were awarded.

this was all staked out at that time
but you would have to get water from the village or get a desalt system so you couldnt get involved town might go dry or all thouse nasty cemicals or
salt destroying the place

You're right, what am I thinking? I tell you, the opportunity to make money certainly does corrupt. I should stay in TJ and try to make a bad place
better than buy in Aqua Verde and make a good place worse.
Oh well, it was quick trip down speculator lane.
I really do want to know when the Loreto Hard Rock cafe opens. Please let me know.
