So, after mostly resting all day and printing pictures and cards through the middle afternoon, I bought some beer and drove somewhere nearby, then I
walked to the beach to photograph the sunset.
At the beer warehouse they charged me a 5 peso "mordida para El Municipio," (10% of 50 pesos) to cover the municipal permit surcharge for staying open
after 3:00 pm on Sundays. Since I really wanted to drink cold beer at the beach, I paid what they asked and headed out.
It was a gorgeously photogenic sunset. I titled it "Mordida Sunset" to celebrate the coincidence and serendipity of the thread BajaNomad » General
Baja Discussion » Mordidas: Omission vs lubrication, originated by lencho on 6/22, where I recently posted.
Here are some pictures of tonight's sunset.
CAN YOU GUESS WHERE IT IS?
CAN YOU NAME THIS POINT?

HINT: Two fishing co-ops launch out of the beach by this point.
DAY OF REST
amir - 6-25-2007 at 01:37 AM
HINT: You're facing north.
CLOSE-UP OF THE POINT. DO YOU KNOW ITS NAME?
amir - 6-25-2007 at 01:40 AM
HINT: Same panguero beach as above.
OCEANO PACIFICO OR MAR DE CORTEZ?
amir - 6-25-2007 at 01:44 AM
HINT: I don't know who these people are.
WHERE THE DESERT MEETS THE OCEAN...
amir - 6-25-2007 at 01:48 AM
HINT: A couple of dunes to the left is a beautiful lagoon.
ONLY ONE MORE AFTER THIS ONE. CAN YOU TELL YET WHERE IT IS?
amir - 6-25-2007 at 01:51 AM
HINT: This is sunset.
LAST ONE!
amir - 6-25-2007 at 01:57 AM
HINT: There is a lot of magic in this place.
Have you figured it out yet?
Do you need more hints?
Guess where it is!

Nice shots. That's point Lobos. When you have the time, wait for a windy day, go there twice; once when the fishermen launch in the AM, when they
haul later in the day. Top of my list for "Most Dangerous Jobs". That Sunday bump is a real Sin Tax.
Mystery Point

Beautiful pics Amir Yes I do know the name of the point because I
will be looking at it when I wake up in the mornings..beginning in October... I am not going to name it here because I feel I have an unfair
advantage. CaboRonamir - 6-25-2007 at 06:27 PM

You are right, Osprey, Punto Lobos.
Do you know the name of the Fishermen's Co-Op that operates out of that beach?
