Epazoyucan Murals

I recently posted photos of several 16th century convents in Hidalgo that I photographed. One was Epazoyucan, which is located about 20 miles SE of Pachuca. There is an interesting series of murals on the exterior walls of the first floor of the cloister depicting the crucifixion, that I am posting here.

Those murals are amazing. I love going to look at culture things in churches, it gives you a sence of what the culture is all about.
