Yes, I used it several years ago. As I recall, AAA simply brokered the line (as I believe they all do) and added a generous comission. Their daily rate was fifteen dollars, and that was 10 years ago. There are many other choices. CaboRon:cool: Just go online... or better yet do a search on this Forum.

I used them a few years. They sold a Mexican company's policy, and I discovered afterward that they were more expensive than going direct. While they are usually easy to deal with, getting the Mexican policy seemed like a bit of a struggle. When I bought the policy, the agent tried to discourage me from going to Mexico. The following year, I tried them again, and after two unreturned phone calls, I gave up and went elsewhere. I gathered they are not really interested in selling Mexican insurance policies.

Support Baja Nomad and use BajaBound.com for your short term policy!

Buy it on-line and print the policy before you leave for the days you would be in Mexico...

If your U.S. policy is issued by AAA you are covered when driving anywhere in Mexico, but not liability. So, you only need to buy Mexican liability insurance when you cross the border.
