In my argumentation and debate classes at San Diego State College (circa 1963) .... I learned that just about any statement can be supported through manipulation of the display of the data ... Not dissing, merly urging caution in the use of statistics. :cool: CaboRon

This is especially true today regarding environmental issues, i.e. bought off experts and manipulation by certain media with a consistant political agenda. Furthermore, any viewpoint can be manipulated by word and phrase juxtopositioning and contextual framing.
