Try reading the BajaNomad board rules.
You have the privaledge of using this board according to the rules.
The monitors do a wonderful job of keeping things sane and somewhat peaceful.
I think the gentle, permissive and understanding method of both Doug and other monitor(s) in dealing with our group of many people with differing backgrounds, opinions and attitudes, has shown an amazing patience and maturity in them all.

As always, my hearty thanks to Doug, Hose A and all of us members who make this forum possible and wonderful !

It ain't censorship, it's discretion. No one is stopping you from what you want to say -- they're just saying that they don't want to publish it. You're free to publish whatever it is somewhere else. Is the New York Times guilty of censorship if they don't publish your letter?

And as in most of life's interactions, as long as you say what you want without using offensive language, name calling or relaying illegal information, you are welcome to interact with all of us Nomads. I think most of us prefer it that way.
(The Off-Topic forum is also available to post almost anything you wish.)

I have been censored on a number of occasions and will agree, in hindsight or with additional information, they were right to censor me each and every time.

What it really going on is Doug sticking up for his little buddy DK.

When one of the members gets too friendly with a board moderator you have very big problems. That's exactly what's going on here. Plus a whole lot of DK whinning to Doug for him to stick up for him when the heat gets too hot on DK.

It's been going on for years and makes you want to :barf:

When something like this is going on behind the scenes it puts the whole integrity of the forum at stake. I hope Doug's relationship with Sun Boy is worth that...

Seems some folks just have it in for DK.
He is who he is and is as genuine as it gets.
If you don't like his posts, don't read them.

And as for accusing Doug of some kind of protectionism; ever notice how small a percentage of forum members have a problem with DK's posts ??
Seems to me that the majority enjoys and appreciates his travel posts, I know I do.

JZ... don't know your history, but there is only a couple people and your the only one I remember for sure, who only post "these days" when ever you have an opportunity to rag on DK....WOW at some point you need to realize the vast majority appreciates his posts and he is not going away ever.

I want to make one last simple remark...this board is not a democracy. If Doug bans you there is no recourse...and the Nomads will not feel the same way about that, as I am sure you will...it will your actions/words and nothing else that caused it.
