I have a Nikon D70 and a Sony Cybershot. The Nikon is the one that you go to for the wonderful shots, the Sony I take to the beach because it fits in
my pocket. The D70 barely fits in a backpack and is heavy, especially if you carry extra lens.
What do you want the camera for?

I have the Nikon D40 and love it. And, also carry a point and shoot for the simple stuff.
