Could it be related to the recent elections? Strange................

bajabound2005 - 8-8-2007 at 06:22 PM

don't think so -- Elections were Sunday, Bajaguy & BajaBlonde saw them emptying the sand bags at the East TJ checkpoint on Saturday. The only trace of them at the Playas are the port-a-potties that are still there.

Hmmmmmmmmm

bajaguy - 8-8-2007 at 06:24 PM

can't be that easy....they are going to pop up like a weed somewhere else

bajabound2005 - 8-8-2007 at 06:44 PM

that's what we were thinking...but there was NO sign of any military anywhere today. Usually we at least pass truck full of marines headed somewhere...

bajamigo - 8-8-2007 at 06:56 PM

Saw them headed for Carson City.

bajabound2005 - 8-8-2007 at 06:58 PM

I saw them settting up at the Baja Country Club!

They caught all the bad guys

uh - Oh

bajaguy - 8-9-2007 at 04:41 AM

maybe they will be installing Topes at the BCC!!!

DENNIS - 8-9-2007 at 07:32 AM

BG.............

You mean, worse than the three or four that are on the road to the BCC? Those are are bad as any I've seen.

bajadock - 8-9-2007 at 08:08 AM

BB05,
Always wondered who those guys were stopping as I rarely saw any vehicle pulled over. Just for show? Flag waving maneuvers?

Dennis,
Crews sighted leaving Baja Country Club and now installing topes just west of Campo Annoya on hill leading up to you. Goal is to slow traffic down to the pace of bicycle riders.

bajamigo - 8-9-2007 at 08:23 AM

Traffic-calming topes on the road from Maneadero to La Bufadora are working extremely well. Accidents are up only 15% since they were installed. Rapida Mofles loves 'em.
