Surf fishermen reported the seasons first action off of the San Jose Estuary for snook, as at least several fish up to 30 pounds were reportedly
landed while fishing in the area between the southern Puerto Los Cabos jetty and Hotel Presidente.
Roberto I already did that, went back 3 or 4 years, good and bad, this year seems to be a bit different, maybe cold water or what?
Going anyway Just like to get it from the horses mouth
Is this the Roberto with the beautiful boat I saw once backing down?Roberto - 8-9-2007 at 04:30 PM

Baitcast, since the water has warmed up the fish are moving real close to shore down here in Palmas Bay in the southland. Radio chatter and cruiser
flags tell me they are doing well all over the bay. Caught and released this nice stripper Monday just off the beach at Los Barriles.

One of the La Paz outfitters emailed me today from his Blackberry--said the dorado action was good, although he wouldn't say where. I was out last
Sunday and found one very nice marlin east of the northern point of Cerralvo. Couldn't find any dorado except babies.Russ - 8-10-2007 at 06:12 PM
Heard both North and South ends of San Marcos Island did great on billfish and dodos yesterday. But the water still isn't normal. Cool. Lots of
sardineros!Alan - 8-10-2007 at 06:28 PM
I've been keeping a watch on www.tempbreak.com for the La Paz area and ocassionally the clouds are thin enough to give you a good enough picture to see the La Paz/Cerralvo
area has been plagued with relatively cool water. It looks like it is just now starting to break up so time to plan a trip soon.
