I, too, have enjoyed a number of delicious meals at Club Marlin. Although I generally stick with fish or shrimp, my friends go there specifically for steak which they say is delicious. The salad has always been fresh and crunchy, and is the main reason I particularly enjoy this restaurant.

I too love the Marlin Club. Used to be the ONLY place to get a good steak, baked pot and salad. The plate also had some rice dish, I think, in a chile. Way too much to eat. We have also stayed there but I have "heard" that the rooms have gone downhill.

Although it is much safer and easier to maintain, I do miss the old palapa roof the blew off years ago. I dont remember which hurricane.

Excellent ribeye steaks, freshest, crispest salads in town & Judy's right...too much food!!:bounce::bounce: Hurricane Marty took the palapa.:(

This could be a reason to go to Centanario!

I thought centanario was north of La Paz a few miles.

Who is Pam? FlyfishingPam?

Pam is the owner of the Marlin Club. It has been in her family since it opened.
It is on the road to Cuidad Constitucion.

The original comment was mine, not Woody's. I understand what you're saying, and I don't take lightly posting negative comments about food establishments; that was long enough ago so I don't remember all the surrounding details, but I've had enough experience with food sickness so I had no doubt at the time as to the cause...

how can you tell which meal caused you to get sick? do you know which sickness you had?
