Hello Nomads!
This is my first post after about a year of lurking. Great info here on road conditions and great trip reports.
I was down in Gonzaga over the 4th of July but didnt take any pics and decided not to write a trip report, partly because the road from Puertecitos to
Gonzaga killed my '98 Jeep Cherokee...again. This was the 4th trip on that road and something always happens, unlike the trips from HWY 1 to Gonzaga.
Anyway, since I had to call my trip short last time I am thinking about going in Sept, Oct or Nov.
What is the weather like during those months? Ive only been to Gonzaga during the 4th of July.
Thanks for your help fellow Nomads!

You will hear opinions... a few Nomads have homes there and are the best input (if they have been there those months). In the past years, I have been
there in January, February, April, May, July, November and December.
Early to mid Sept. hot and humid
October is Perfect most anywhere in Baja
November is very nice... water will be getting cool for swimming the second half of the month.

As David posted is pretty accurate as far as I know. Plan on some wind, Gonzaga is notorious for wind. It has to be one of the prettiest bays in the
area.

Thanks for the info.
Its hard for me to believe that it gets humid there, its been very dry the times Ive been there in July.
And the wind, yeah...Ive experienced some of that also.

Had wind in February and May, of the months listed I been at Gonzaga.
Wind will keep you off the water, but the exploring possibilities are great around Gonzaga... Here is a sampling of local sites, starting on this

The following Thanksgiving my kids and I returned and hiked further up the Camino Real towards Mision Santa Maria: http://vivabaja.com/1103

Their site has not been up long enough to have yearly weather data.
We were at Alfonsina's the last week of July. 7:30 am, 93F, 68% humidity.
Still had a great time.

Thanks for the info guys. Im thinking that mid October will be a perfect time for me to go. Save up a bit more moolah for the trip, maybe get some
new suspension stuff for the Jeep and the weather will be a bit cooler. Well, anytime is cooler than the 4th of July.
Are there any nomads here that rent their places in Gonzaga? If so let me know.
Thanks,
ikestr
