For Sale:Propane Gas Conversion kit for small block Chevy with TBI - Sailboats - Scuba gear

Cervisin - 8-14-2007 at 05:16 AM

Hi, I’m new on this board. I’ve tried a few other boards and do not want to miss this opportunity to also offer some items I have for sale here on BajaNomad.

I used to do a lot of long-distance hauling and I used the propane to save on gasoline. I’ve changed the body on my ’88 - ¾ ton Chevy to an extended cab and do not have space anymore for the propane tank in my truck bed so I am selling the whole set-up (tank, lines, hoses, switch, etc.). It’s not new but it’s functional and very low priced. Basically all for sale of '92 1/2 ton 4x4 except the complete body (see above) and the auto-tranny (in need of 2000 - 3000$US rebuild).Get in touch with me by mail about it.

For health reasons I am also forced to sell miscellaneous scuba gear (regulators, BCD, tanks (8), wetsuit’s etc., etc.) and
2 sailboats

All of the items are on view in La Paz by appointment.

You can see the Nicholson Southern Comfort and here you can view Reinke Super 10

The scuba gear is not priced. I ask for a reasonable offer, I provided as much information as possible at different items via link to manufacture so one can see new value. I have no idea on used gear value in market here and pricing as market is in Europe or US would be for sure a turn-off for any buyer used to prices here.... f.y.i.

TBI + propane

Hi Lencho,

all remains the same as in only gasoline operation yet there is a adapter on top. You can choose manual via toggle-switch on dashboard ( or hidden as I did - little additional theft protection) and select either propane, gasoline or neutral ( equals no flow of either). Power comes from fuel pump relay, pending on position of switch either fuelpump delivers gasoline or if set on propane a solenoid open propane flow and fuelpump is off. All other controlled by throttle position sensor and knock-sensor (retard ignition) by ECU. More info for you maybe at manufacture of unit.
Woodward Streamline™ converters

No second controller

Hi Lencho,

when on propane injectors are "off line" so to say. Power from fuelpump solenoid is taken of pump, so no more fuel delivery instead power to propane solenoid - propane flows. The whole unit sits on top of the TBI body, that why need for differnt airfilter housing.
Just buy it and I install it..... lol

A nerd, huh??
