We have a bunch of rocket engines and a dwindling number of igniters. We've been trying to make our own rockets out of what we can find around town
and have come up with a two engine and a three engine version.
The engines are all tied together at the bottom of the rocket, but we're finding that we can't ignite more than one engine at a time. (I'll post pics
later).
It seems we're not getting enough juice from the ignition pack (4 AA batteries) to launch more than one engine.
Any suggestions on how to launch these multiple-engine rockets using what we have here? We could tape a whole bunch of batteries together (but how
many) or hook up a car battery, but we have so few igniters left we can't afford to experiment.
If we do cook the igniters without launching the engines, is there another way to start these Estees model engines?

that you could try and twist the ignition wires together and then place them in the engine, hit the battery.....the resistance/short will create a

I was thinking of that solution, but was somewhat worried about whether the igniters could handle at 13v. Since we only have three igniters and don't
yet know how to ignite the rockets with what we can find here, we're hoping to know for sure if the car battery will work.
It would be a bummer to fry the igniters....
I should say, that we were able to superglue a rocket engine to a stick and then double secure it with some bandaids. It worked well enough to make a

Make an igniter. Two wires...one + and the other - Then glue a wooden match head to the two wires. Apply some volts and Viola. (maybe?)

We used to use the fuses out of firecrackers. worked just fine but watch your fingers
