I read in Surfer's Path that developers have appealed to the Mexi gov. to make an "access road" from Punta Baja to The Wall for development surveying.
Now THAT would suck.

Rumors of a Japanese company offering to build a toll road along the coast from El Rosario/ Punta Baja to Santa Rosalillita were circulated about 20
years ago.
Graded roads already go from Hwy. 1 to many points (San Carlos, Santa Catarina, Punta Canoas, Faro San Jose), and from Santa Rosalillita's new paved
highway north to almost Punta Blanco.

like DK said, most of it is already there....perhaps we should take a few volunteers from this board and put up our own toll booths to tax the
developers....as the bounce along the existing path.....to their death march of bankruptcy....
