I am looking for someone in San Felipe that can install a plexiglass windshield in my dune buggy.

Don't put in plexiglass go for automotive safety glass. Chava (behind the immigration office (El Funeral Buggy) or Ephreim - Couple blocks past ice house will make you a steel frame and have automotive safety glass installed. Way better than plexiglass (costs a bit more but worth it) no more plastic attracting dust, no scratching when you try to clean it - way better.

Of course, either of the above will also install the plexiglass one too.

Lou, Thanks for the info. Where is the ice house.

It's on Mar de Caribe Norte - up the hill beyond Z market. A couple blocks beyond the Ice house on the left you'll see a bunch of old VW's. Turn left and that's Ephreim's place (Taller Barney).

Chava's place is easier to find but both are good with dunebuggy and VW stuff.

Plexiglass will scratch and UV rays will do a number on it.

Automotive Safety glass is not available in San Felipe. The guys I mentioned take measurements/frame to Mexicali to a glass shop there.

They are both friends of mine. If you mention my name, they will only double their usual charges.
