south - southeast area of the country alone, airlines are reporting losses of US$ 50,000 from this type of fraud, while a representative of Mexicana
de Aviacion estimates that the country's airlines will have lost several millions of dollars this year. Mexico is one of the major countries for
credit card fraud, with Cancun, Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey and Tijuana being the main areas of risk. 224 companies have joined forces to
create the Comite de Auditoria y Prevencion de Fraudes, belonging to the Asociacion Internacional de Transporte Aereo.This committee is dedicated to
seeking legislative and technological solutions for this problem.
