Hola Judy and everyone else down there in San Jose area;
Anybody know if the road is open yet across the river to La Playita and the east cape road. We are up in the states traveling, but some neighbors are
stranded at their house and want to know if the road is passable to town yet.
Hope all went well with you all down there. Reports are that the errosion wasn't nearrly as bad as feared, but the wind blew like crazy. We had some
loosened solar panels, but fortunately no damage. Whew!

Hola
The road is not open for cars yet, just walkers or waders. I doubt that they get it open today but maybe tomorrow.
Jefe if your friends have phone have them call me. I will send you a U2U with my number
We just got power back last night in the middle of the night. I have to hand it to CFE...they do a heck of a job. There was not a single pole left
in the middle of the arroyo when we went to bed. They must have worked all night....thank you CFE
Hole in our palapa but not any other real damage. Blew pretty strong there for a few hours but we really didnt get much rain.
more later

If anyone is interested, the road is open for brief spurts. If you really need to get to this side of the arroyo, come in at Santa Rosa. That is the
intersection on #1 with a traffic light where there is a Lody Muebleria, Fischer Muebleria, Lizarraga produce, Rigos Restaurant and there used to be a
Frutas y Verduras(I think it is a paint store now) Anyway take that road and follow the leader. We never cross water unless we have someone to
follow...let them get stuck You will wind up at the new Cemex in La Playa
