Anyone have a report on how the hurricane effected LB?Diver - 9-6-2007 at 07:15 PM
This just in from NEWSMadeup.com:
"A major hurricane pounded the shores of the now-famous Loreto Bay Resort in southern Baja earlier this week. Although other homes in the area were
hardly affected, all of the structures at Loreto Bay seemed to simply melt away as if they were all just a dream.
Homeowners and investors alike are dumbfounded by the results of the hurricane and are questioning the "wrath of g-d" scenario that has been offerd by
the Loreto Bay company in explanation. Rumours that the buildings were actually constructed with paper machet and sugar frosting are thus far
unsubstantiated."

Diver,
Didn't your mother ever tell you " if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anthing at all"? Regardless of your (our) opinion of LB, Tuna
Stick obviously has a vested interest and is looking for viable information. I can't offer you any information Tuna Stick from way north in the US
Southwest but hopefully someone here will.Diver - 9-7-2007 at 06:31 AM
Yes my mom said that to me.
She also told me to invest in pet rocks.
She has not lectured me in 40 years.
YOU are not my mother ...... are you ?

In 1975, Gary Dahl launched the sale of the pet rock which quickly transformed him into a multi-millionaire.
This enormous profit is much more impressive considering it only took him six months to achieve his multi-millionaire status and the extremely low
cost of the product.
The pet rock sold for $3.95 and estimates state Dahl sold over 5 million of his pet rocks in a six month period.
Even more, each pet rock was purchased for a few pennies and Dahl estimated that the packaging and accompanying manual cost him under 30 cents per
rock in bulk to produce.
Therefore, assuming incidentals and delivery cost Dahl another 65 cents per rock, then Dahl was profiting 3 dollars per rock.
With these totals Dahl earned over 15 million dollars during a six month period in 1975 which would be estimated at $56,166,419.02 today.

you should have listened to "mom"Diver - 9-7-2007 at 07:00 AM
I think our "pet" was left in the garden at a house we have since sold.
Mom's idea was to buy them and wait for their value to increase !

Diver; I would be very insulted by Bob and Susan's post, how dare they compare NEWSMadeup.com (a very reliable source) to a pet rock Bob and Susan - 9-7-2007 at 07:17 AM
