For those of you that don't read the General Board much, I have a trip report to Bahia de Los Angeles from last week. In general, the weather was
very unsettling - even with hail and snow on Mike's mountain and the other peaks. Full moon Thur/Fri. I fished Wed, Thur and Fri, searched in vain
for the yellowtail. Most days I was blown off the water by late morning. I doubt I saw more than half-a-dozen boats on the water those three days.
Day 1: Horsehead to Punta Don Juan. Day 2: Punta Don Juan to North Animus (Punta el Solado). Day 3: Encircled Smith Island. Lots of baracuda,
spotted bay bass and a few triggers and 1 small grouper. Never saw anything I thought could be a yellowtail, either on the scope or any surface
activity. Trolled and jigged, but did not use live bait.

Santiago! You were fishing in the wrong places. The yellows are at the seven mile reef ore at bahia machos. fishin rich

7 mile reef is north of smith 7 miles in the middle of the canal and los machos is on the main island straight across from guadalupe(black rock) .
