.....And if they'd have been calculated in December, the discount would have been 30%!
The discount schedule is:
December.............30%
January.................20%
February...............10%
March, which is the due date there's no discount

You can pay years in advance too. The building in La Paz is on Colosio opposite side of the street from Soriana. Its a huge huge building city
center. Outside there is a mobil payment van usually or you can go inside and ask for assistance too. They have microfiche of lot lines and you can
check it out. You can submit docs to name streets etc... I got pretty confused because they payment slip had a ton of info, my neighbors names etc...
apparently in the neighbors name field, all nearby street names and tons of zeros... but it was mine, I paid 3 years up to avoid any red flags. I am
sure they would have a web site with payment options, or of course use the pay late system, no problem.
Novemeber in La Paz

Villadelfin and I went to the tax office on Colosio last week to pay 2008 taxes. They printed up my bill and when I looked at it was all 0000's. when
we inquired- can't pay for 2008 until November-- so that's the story in La paz for prepaying taxes. Norm

I think when you can pay and at what discount depends on where you are and when they can get it together. It is a municipal tax.
No biggie. The one you need to worry about is the capital gains tax when and if you sell.
