Tijuana to La Paz via Mexican airlines

I'm taking a small group of singles to La Paz in a few months. We'll be leaving from San Diego and I've heard that Avolar and Alma airlines has cheap flights from Tijuana. Has anyone used them before? www.avolar.com.mx or www.alma.com.mx

My husband has used Avolar. He found it satisfactory. He flew a little less than a year ago. It was the least expensive and least travel time to San Diego then.
Both of his roundtrip legs were on time.

safarilgirl,

Check out Volaris.com very reasonable flights out of TJ airport on brand new airplanes... and they have a shuttle service from and to the San Diego Amtrak station.

Airlines: Tijuana to La Paz

I'll be bringing a group of people to La Paz late March and wondered about the two airlines I have heard would be much cheaper to use from Tijuana rather than leaving from San Diego. Has anyone used Alma or one of the others?

Actually it's volaris.com.mx

The shuttle is 15.00 per person, one way. You are dropped off at the border, you walk across and meet the shuttle on the other side. I would assume you have to keep your baggage with you, so best to pack light.

Hook has it right.

I think Volaris only flies to San Jose del Cabo, not La Paz, but you can also try Aero California from TJ to La Paz. I did that flight in June.
