Great Pixs Ken. I think the open jeep should get at least a roll bar.

These looked like Mexican licensed vehicles for the most part...and quite well equiped....good to see....

Any info on the red truck with "baja crawlers" on the windshield? Looks to have some impressive wheel travel...how is it set up?

Chris Glass is my good friend and my favorite amigo to call when I visit Tijuana. This is his Ford Explorer that he drives the family around town in and out for fun up in the hills of Tecate as well.

Stage 1 of buildup - Rear Spring over Axle, 3" body lift, Torsion bar twist

Stage 2 of buildup - 35" Tires, Hardcore bumpers, Atlas II Transfercase, weak IFS.

One of the last times I was in TJ, I saw a "Truck Trader"-type publication which you can probably find in Mexicali - or probably Calexico for that matter. The prices looked great! Willy in Playas de Tijuana is a great suspension fabricator and transmission guy as well. He could tell you of all of the places in Mexicali where you could get work done on the Jeep once you buy one for your g/f. The thing about Jeeps is that they are so much fun to ride around in. :bounce:
