Do something about these holdups / hijackings???

Baja&Back - 10-6-2007 at 09:39 AM

It appears that none of the people involved in these incidents make a report to anyone. They may think "What good is it?", but one thing I've learned is that government can't perpetually ignore something ON PAPER. They are always compelled to process it!

Fernando, or Antonio, or somebody in TJ, can you get a postal address or fax # for the Attorney General of Baja Norte? I will collect all these posts and mail or fax them from Canada. I can present them as a concerned commercial enterprise who brings muchas turista dollars into Mexico.
How about that Deputy Turismo Minister, Juan, who was at the dinner in La Mesa? Him too.

It's better than doing nothing. :fire:

OK Baja&back. Time to cut to the chase.

Antonio Martínez Luna, Baja California's attorney general.

His email address is: amartinez@pgje.gob.mx

His address is:

MUNICIPALITY OF TIJUANA
RÍO SUCHIATE Y RÍO NAZAS W/O NUMBER
COL. REVOLUCIÓN Z.C. 22400
PH.: (664) 686-3508
FAX: (686) 4268

Bombard him with what you feel.

Juan that was there in November is Lic. Juan Arturo Saldaña and he is the director of marketting for the Tijuana Convention and Visitors Bureau, his email is juansaldana@tijuanaonline.org . Now I must tell you that I am in constant communication with him, as a matter of fact it's almost on a daily basis, either I call him or he calls me, our friendship goes back to childhood and I sometimes forward to him the posts here ad not just these but others also, he realy got a kick out of the Young Donkeys and others. So in other words they are all aware of all that goes on here.

So is everyone else that lives here

I think that atty general just got shot this morning in TJ.....:O

Seems to me Marv played by the rules and got shook down BY THE AUTHORITIES at TWO levels; the judiciary and the police!

If the vehicle hadn't been so new, I'm not sure I wouldn't have walked away, too.

Sometimes reporting it just opens yourself up to more scrutiny and more mordida., so it's not such a simplistic solution.

Thanks, Losfrailes & Fernando, for the info. I'm all over it!

Bob: Not phoning. My communication is going on paper - so much harder to ignore. Gov't workers NEVER throw away a piece of paper.

I don't know about govt workers, but in the army people get in serious trouble for not shredding old documents.I know from experience...

Phil C - 10-3-2009 at 04:47 AM

Talk about old documents...this thread is two years old!

DENNIS - 10-3-2009 at 08:53 AM

I would guess, from the link in the signature box, it's a sales troll.

Bajahowodd - 10-3-2009 at 12:37 PM

Good guess, Dennis. And from what I can tell, there wasn't much trolling going on. I put "paper shredders" in the search box and instantly got this thread.
