Has anyone Recently stayed in the cabins at Campo Rene ?
Do the cabins have: Electricity ? Running water, shower, toilet ? Stove ? Refrigerator ? Bedding ?
There is a "Campo Rene" website, but it does not give these details, and there is no Email address.
From our casita in Loreto, we want to stay a couple of days at Campo Rene and would like to know in advance what kind of supplies and equipment to
bring.

We didn't stay overnight at Campo Rene but had a delicious lunch there this past late August on a day trip while staying in Bahia Asuncion for a week.
The whole place, the grounds, camping areas, and common areas are kept immaculate, restrooms and restaraunt are very well kept too.

Well, nobody is responding so I will do my best from what I remember this summer.
Our cabin had two beds against opposite walls with a nightstand between them. Each bed had a fairly thin matress, sheets, single blanket, and a bed
cover. There was an electric light overhead and a shell near the window.
Without a fan or AC it might seem that it would get too hot but there were many windows (with screens) that you could open and close to keep you as
cool as you wanted to be.
There are flush toilets outside the cabanas which guests share and the same applies for showers.
In additiion there was a small building available for guests that had tables and grills for barbequing your catch.
There is also a restaurant and bar right at the water which I would highly recommend. You can sit outside overlooking the estuary or sit in the round
dining room and watch through the glass walls. We found the outside seating to be preferable.
We didn't see any refrigeration available for guests but it's very possible that something can be arranged at the restaurant.
The accomodations are spartan but we like it that way. It still has a baja feeling to it whereas nearby abreojos is starting to lose it.
