I give a huge thank you for posting the photos. Now I would like to hear your opinions on the place. Would it be worth forgoing a few days on the
beach in order to include this place in my travels? I especially like the picture of the camp with the rope going across the river. It reminds me of
what car camping in the U.S. would still be like if we didn't have to undergo all that inevitable progress. Are there campsites right close to the
smaller pools at SC like there are at Canyon de Guad?David K - 10-7-2007 at 08:22 PM
Great info!
Thanks BajaCat!!Sallysouth - 10-7-2007 at 09:16 PM
Great photos BAJACAT! Back in the 60's(oops, just dated myself) We used to go up there to soak in the Spanish tiled, private tubs/rooms.They were
funky, and I took cleaning products with me when we went. The pool was there then but not as nice as it looks in your pics. I have to confess, my
daughter was concieved there (Juanita)!!!!That was 1968 !!! oh my, I need a vacation to Baja now........BAJACAT - 10-10-2007 at 01:47 PM

It will if you dont go in a weekend because you will
be surround it by local people. if you you like privacy , mid week will be best, as far as the hot pools there is only three of them and they are
located right in plain sight, ther is nothing so far that compares to G-Canyon .. but still is a nice spot to visit in aweekend.

Thanks for the information. We went back in that direction to pick up some sand last year but never made it to the hot baths. But now I see it as a
"must".BAJACAT - 8-28-2008 at 08:14 PM

I stopped there for an overnight on my way south this year. We were there on a Saturday, yet it wasn't crowded at all, and nobody was playing any
music. This made for a very peaceful evening bathing until 1:00 at night by tiki torch light in water that was plenty hot. The next day, somebody
parked their truck by the biggest pool and blasted their stereo until it started distorting and clipping, but we were heading out anyway. I'd love to
go there for a few days during the weekday.BAJACAT - 1-25-2009 at 11:20 PM
That seems to be the only problem, they do not enforce the loud music law, thats way I only go for the day..Packoderm - 1-25-2009 at 11:30 PM
But it was soooo nice at night with the tiki torches and everything. We got lucky by not having any music.
