Anybody know the latest regs on carrying reels in your carry-on bag? I'll be flying Delta to La Paz and don't trust putting my reels in the hands of
baggage handlers.

Alan...... A year or so ago I was not allowed board an Air Alaska flight to the States in Loreto with reels with line in a carry-on bag. I had to put
them in checked luggage. Mexican AA staff cited US concerns.

Had no problem with reels that had no line on them.

Yep, no line; no problems.
They have stopped me with line on my reels and made me put them in luggage.

i know i feel safer knowing there is no monofiliment on the aircraft
