Thanks Grover... I got them, but no caption or seperation between them, also they are not in the order I loaded them into the 'bucket'... I will keep
trying!David K - 10-23-2007 at 12:49 PM
Okay, I see how to put spaces between them and got all to show... I guess I will manually add captions...David K - 10-23-2007 at 01:09 PM
Okay, done!
Chris and I are going to see if we can spot the fires, smoke and ash falling here...Sallysouth - 10-23-2007 at 02:39 PM

waaaayy back!David K - 10-23-2007 at 04:22 PM
De nada Sally... I am sure they have appeared on Nomad before over the years... But, new people here all the time and this is the first time they all
have been shown together... (I wanted to test the photo bucket program)
Anyway, I am glad you like it... I think I posted the ones of Ramon (of Juncalito) and my mom... like the one on the cover of my '74 guidebook...

Great photos David.... your Mom loved to fish, huh?
Bob HDavid K - 10-23-2007 at 10:06 PM
Yes, she did love to catch fish as did I, with my dad... When my dad died (1989) I didn't fish much after... Sally, my mom passed away four years
after my dad. She was a great fan of Baja and camping... nothing bothered her... she loved exploring and history, like me!Sallysouth - 10-23-2007 at 10:16 PM
Lo Siento David.I probably should have known that and would not have to bring the memory up about your dear Mom and Dad. Still, sometimes it feels so
wonderfully warm to remember those times, like you have shared in your pics and text, to relive those times, if only breifly, of those fine times and
memories that we have and no one else will ever !! Abrazos, Amigo,David K - 10-23-2007 at 10:24 PM
Oh, no worries about that Sally... I am now an old fellow at 50, and thinking about them brings a smile to my face... they were both great people to
me and I am the luckiest guy on earth for the things they taught me and the love they gave... I also got to see much of the world thanks to them...
and you know what? Baja is the best!!!
By the way, the last copy I let go of that guidebook went to Norm (Rockman) in Washington, for his enormous Baja publication collection. Perhaps there
is a Nomad who would part with one?bacquito - 10-25-2007 at 01:45 PM
