since? was the fire stopped before it got to the houses?

Not sure Fandango but I was told that the road is closed some where near Cantu. No one in or out of Punta Banda right now. (not even Dennis) haha

Cantu has been saved. Road is now open. Fire driven back into the hills. Still no electricity. Phones seem OK (as long as you have one that goes
directly to a phone jack doesn't use electricity!). We are on our neighbor's generator right now, but signing off. EVERYONE IS SAFE and Dennis is
very happy the road is open and has headed to Sharky's!
But, let's close this thread and go back to the original one posted above!
