What is the best way to get to the San Ysidro SENTRI lanes coming north from Ensenada? I have not been through there in a while and I know there has
been a LOT of construction going on in TJ.

To get there, you first need to be on Paseo de Los Heroes. To get there from the highway, take the last right before the light where you would
otherwise make the left to get to the ramp to the regular lanes. (Sorry, I can't remember the name of this street.) Go one block and make a left at
the light, then follow the signs to Paseo de Los Heroes. At the first glorieta, make a left onto Ave. Independencia, and then left again at the next
glorieta onto Ave. del Centennario. There is a sign at the end that will direct you to the right and the SENTRI lane. It is also possible to get to
the SENTRI lane via Ave. Padre Kino, but I don't recommend it. If there is a lot of border traffic you can get trapped for a long time on Padre Kino
before you are able to peel off to the SENTRI entrance.
Easier Way

Depending on the time of day there is as easier way. After the morning rush (after 9:30) take the regular exit for the border making sure you are in
the FAR right lane (diamond). This lane is now sectioned off and is most always free of traffic. When you reach the Y, bear RIGHT (important, as if
you don't you will wind up in the diamond lanes). You will then curve left and down to a stop sign. Follow the glorieta (bear left) and follow the
signs to the SENTRI lane.
