Javier Arellano Felix gets life sentence

BajaGeoff - 11-5-2007 at 04:36 PM

From SignOnSanDiego.com:

SAN DIEGO– Francisco Javier Arellano Félix was sentenced to life in prison Monday by federal judge Larry Burns.

Arellano Félix had pleaded guilty Sept. 17 to operating a continuing criminal enterprise and money laundering. He had agreed to a life prison sentence as part of the plea agreement.

The plea bargain came after former U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales decided not to seek the death penalty.

“I would like to ask forgiveness from all those people, on both sides of the border, who I have affected by my wrongful decisions and criminal conduct. Please forgive me,” Arellano Félix said.

“ . . . If I had the power to change and undo the things that I have done, I would.”

I'm sure he was referring to getting caught...........

I wonder if the Mexican government is going to monitor his human rights. Make sure he has the full protection of the United States Constitution and that he's treated with respect. Appeal his sentence on BS technicalities. Insist that he is given a drivers license. Maybe unemployment insurance.

This A-Hole is the Grim Reaper. He deserves the same misery and death that he sold on our streets. What crap that he was spared that.

I'd give the SOB a medal

The Congressional Medal of Darwin.

Consumers aren't forced to use drugs. They actually pay for the privilege. Some even die as a result. Good riddance.

Someone has already taken his place. Whoever you are, keep up the good work.

So, did he get any albies on that last trip of his? Any size to em? LOL!

DENNIS - 11-6-2007 at 04:28 PM

Dave....

Don't lay it all on the consumer. That's what the Mexican government does to a point that they exonerate themselves from culpability. There's a lot of fault and reason on both sides. Our governments won't see this. That's why they won't fix it.

Coming from a guy who once ordered his killers to decapitate two Police officers, i doubt he truly feels remorse.

Yes. I know what you meant. I was saying, without typing it all out, the same thing I said to Dave. There is more to the problem than the consumer side of the issue.

Probably not. You ought to be getting used to it by now.
What's the problem today? You having trouble finding enough snails in your neighbors garden to keep them on the menu?

Don't you have anything better to do like, you know, pulling feathers out of frog legs?

"Sí Señor, the Frog Legs are excellent tonight. Would you like them regular or extra crispy?"

bancoduo - 11-7-2007 at 04:28 PM

He serves them extra crispy so he doesn't have to pull out the feathers:cool:
