Would love to hear of your kayak touring experiences if you hired one of the several touring companies out of Loreto- I have a friend who is seeking
a recommendation for the last week of this month.
Muchas Gracias

We have only gone out with SKA, Sea Kayak Adventures, and we were very pleased with our trip. We went to Mag Bay for 5days. The food was excellent,
the personnel knowledgeable, equipment in great shape, very environmentally conscious...just a wonderful experience. Definitely in the top 10 trips
of my life.
I am sure that their Loreto trips are comparable.

Trudi at Paddling South has always been gracious to me and my needs. I love her especially since she provided kayaks to some of my neophyte friends
in October 2007. Just to be fair tho, Mar Y Adventures has some interesting employees including Chuy who knows the area better than any other and a
former employee of theirs , Roberto who is director of the Loreto Marine Park. Either one is great! JK

Wow - those SKA prices are outrageous – for two people it would be over $2,000 for most of their multi-day trips. What exactly do your friends want
to do - paddle around close to shore for a few hours during the day on a sit-on-top? or do a multi-day excursion with food provided? Go whale
watching at Mag Bay? They might consider renting a tandem kayak in San Diego for $275/week at Aqua Adventures. They could then paddle around all day,
anytime, anywhere they wanted. If they want to do a multi-day trip, and don't have any kayaking experience, I guess paying the price for such an
experience might be the best option. Lotta money though.

Or they can buy a tandem today for $350 (from Craig's List 11-7-07):
ZEST II Sit-On-Top Ocean Kayak. Built for 2 persons, Holds 600 Lbs. Great Condition in All Respects. All Straps in Great Shape, as is Kayak
Body/Shell. Comes With 2 Paddles, 2 Seat Backs, and a New Thule Roof Rack that fits on Most Roof Rack Cross Bars. This Kayak is very stable and can
easily be converted for Fishing etc. Am Moving Accross the Country and Cannot Take it With Me.

I've heard so many good things about Paddling South. I rode into Sierra with Saadling South, Trudi's mountain business. i'm looking forward to
riding with her again in February. If I were looking for a kayak trip I would love to go out on the water with Nadia or Jorge, two of the people who
guide for Trudi.

Visit http://www.bajaex.com baja expeditions
They are one of the longest running and very reasonable and knowledgeable the food is excellent, more than that, exceptional, and great people. They
run a 7 day loreto to la paz trip with support of a large boat while you camp for very reasonable rates.

My friend is flying in, thus he can't bring a kayak down. There are a lot of good leads here and he is feeling his way through them. Thanks
again!
