Watching the news I can see that the Santa Anna winds have been strong in S Cal. Has this translated to high winds on the NW west Baja coast - ie: El
Rosario vacinity beaches?

generally yes. for santa anas to develop, you need a high pressure over or around Utah (great Basin area) this high pressure must be higher than the
pressure at the CA or Baja coastline. if there is low pressure south of El Rosario or off the Pac coastline, then Santa Anas would be even stonger as
winds flow from high to low pressure. check out www.weather.gov for detailed weather maps
